What Are the Dishonour Fees and Charges for Local Transfers?

A dishonour fee is incurred when an incorrect beneficiary account is entered, or the beneficiary account doesn't support the specified type of transfer. Please note that this charge is only applicable from the second dishonour attempt onwards.

Dishonour Charges

• NPP Dishonour (PayID): 1.15 AUD + GST
• Direct Entry Dishonour (BSB/Account Number Transfer): 10 AUD + GST
  

How to Avoid Dishonour Fees

To avoid being charged a dishonour fee, please confirm that the PayID, BSB, and Account Number are correct and that the beneficiary account is compatible with the chosen transfer type.
