How do I Split Bills on transactions that were made with my Bano VISA Card?

Bano allows users to split existing bills that were made using the Bano VISA Card. If all users splitting the bill have a Bano Account, all users part of the split will receive up to 20% cashback instantly(this is based of on an individual's amount paid for the split, not the full bill amount).

How to split a bill:

  1. In your Bano Activity or Transaction History page, tap on the transaction that you want to split. 
  2. At the bottom of the dedicated transaction page, tap on 'Split the bill'
  3. On the split page, input the BanoIDs, phone number, or email of the users you are about to split with. You can input different payment amounts for each person or tap on 'Make Equal' to split the bill equally. (Note: if the phone number or email belongs to a user who has not signed up to Bano, they will receive a text or email where they will be able to pay with ApplePay/GooglePay).
  4. Leave a little note or photo for the receipients and hit 'Send'.
  5. The recepients will now receive a notification on their mobile devices. 
  6. If all users in the split bill are Bano Users, everyone in the split bill can enjoy up to 20% cashback instantly!
